Writing class and exercise

I found a free course over Zoom through the Irish Writers Centre. I started it last night. I'll just say that it was a bit like having wandered the desert for 40 days and 40 nights and coming across a legit oasis. Very refreshing. Even if I learn nothing from it, it is always nice to connect with other writers.

At any rate, we had homework, and I penned a little exercise that I don't mind sharing. It is up for free on Ko-fi: enjoy "Jack".
