Liriel is a writer of science-fiction, fantasy, horror, and historical fiction.

Liriel has lived life as a woman, a man, a grunge music bass player, a vampire researcher, an amateur astrophysicist, a webcomic artist, an industrial music DJ, and a lifelong student of the fiction craft.

Liriel completed courses for the University of Washington Certificate of Writing Fiction in the late-1990s.  He has since formally studied anthropology, history, and public administration. 

​

His lived experience plays a role in how Liriel sees and writes about the world.  He finds people fascinating, and he loves to capture personality and interaction in the written word.
